PROGRAMME
Over forty abstracts have been received, not counting the seven confirmed keynote speakers. Several of these will be taking an overview of nanotechnology, for example Dr. Ken Chong, head of the Engineering Directorate of the US National Science Foundation and Mr Hervé Péro of the European Commission.

The technical presentations will cover a wide range of topics including, for example, cement and concrete, steel, natural roofing materials and even photovoltaic cells for building facades. Contributions will be grouped into sessions on techniques and instrumentation, materials and products, modelling and applications.
